Studies Show Interior Glass Maximizes Health and Performance

Numerous studies have been conducted in the last two decades to determine the relationship between windows and the health and performance of occupants.  Repeatedly, the findings show access to a view of daylight improves health, comfort, creativity and performance.  Hospitals show an decrease in pain medication usage and shorter hospital stays in rooms with a view.  In schools, test scores and productivity increased with views of the outdoors.  Work spaces have shown a plethora of benefits from remodeling using glass office fronts or moving to a building with more natural light.

Studies have shown, using interior glass means many occupants benefit from outdoor views, not just those on the perimeter.

A Midwest firm reported a 200% decrease in employee turnover in its business group after replacing standard office walls, with three-sided glass offices.  The firm also received a record number of job applicants and an increase in transfer requests from other non-renovated offices within the firm.

Processing time improvement 6-12%

Workers in a call center processed calls 6 to 12% faster when they had the best view possible.
